The Making of Tathagata Tsal
Tathagata Tsal is one of the most significant pilgrimage sites in Sikkim and a valuable addition to India's Buddhist circuit. This beautifully landscaped monastery features a magnificent statue of Lord Buddha as its centerpiece. The site took six years to complete, from the foundation stone-laying ceremony in 2006 to its consecration by His Holiness the Dalai Lama on March 25th, 2013. Today, Tathagata Tsal serves as a serene haven where hundreds gather daily to pray and find peace.

The Statue of Buddha installed here to mark the 2550th birth anniversary of Gautama Buddha.
